Roll: 434 Group 3

We are looking for teachers with real ‘Oomph’! In our school, if you have a passion for a particular area then you can teach it! Our learning is about big ‘Wow-based outcomes’, some of these are great successes and some crash and burn... that doesn’t matter - the children (and you) will still learn.

Teachers at St Elizabeth aren’t afraid to set up Restaurant evenings, organize sleepovers, open Art Galleries, publish Magazines and Poetry Anthologies, put on fashion shows, create their own board games, set up their own French Cafe, create sustainable African Gardens, even an enterprise business fair filled with entrepreneurial skills.

We focus on:

  • Creativity, Learning life skills, high expectations, Partnership
  • Entrepreneurial Skills, Presentation Skills, Negotiation, Problem Solving

So this is what we are looking for:

  • Someone that has a passion for learning
  • To us, this is someone that reflects when the children haven’t learnt something.
  • What could have I done differently?
  • Why were they off their game today?
  • Do they need encouragement today or do they need reminding about expectations?
  • Someone who is genuine

Let’s face it we don’t do this job for the fantastic pay or the prestige. We do it because we like children and we genuinely feel that we can make a difference. Our job actually matters! So in our school if you have a passion for something you WILL be able to use that to teach the children. If you want to set up a Radio Station, create an Orchestra, open an Art Gallery, have Restaurant evenings, or set up your own business we will encourage Creativity at St Elizabeth Primary School.

What we can offer you:

  • To work in a great school with many fantastic teachers
  • The opportunity to actually teach in the field that you are passionate about
  • Great support and training
  • Fantastic behaviour in our school; you get to teach and you don’t need advanced skills in peacekeeping!
  • You get to work in partnership with our other schools and learn from a range of teachers in our school.

A visit to our school is really important. Please arrange a visit by contacting the school office.

A copy of the Job Description, our Safeguarding Policy, and an Application Form can be obtained by visiting the school, our school website or emailing us at the above email address.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and a receipt of satisfactory references.
