Harrold Primary Academy has a well-deserved reputation for the significant contribution that it makes to the personal and academic achievement of all of its pupils. 

In addition, Harrold Primary Academy has an excellent reputation locally and more widely across Bedfordshire and neighbouring counties. The school is part of the Sharnbrook Academy Federation (SAF), a multi-academy trust made up of five member academies, 2 secondaries and 3 primaries. Sharnbrook Academy Federation is committed to the continuous professional development of all staff and supports them to work in collaboration and share best practice.

We are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and experienced classroom practitioner to teach within KS2 who has an excellent understanding of the curriculum. You must be able to demonstrate passion for education through raising standards and introducing new initiatives including planning and delivering the outstanding learning opportunities for our children. The successful candidate will closely liaise with all staff, parents and outside agencies to ensure best outcomes for all children.

Outstanding knowledge of the Primary curriculum is essential alongside creativity, dedication and the ability to build relationships.  We would like you to be able to foster a nurturing learning environment where there are high expectations for all children and to be committed to your own professional development and continuing to grow within your role. 

A passion for pupil progress is essential together with calmness and the ability to build relationships. You will be required to use your initiative to use individual development targets to support their learning and development, raise attainment and demonstrate a positive impact on learning.
