Class Teacher

From September 2022 or as soon as possible after this, we require a talented and enthusiastic qualified teacher to join our team. We would consider applicants for a full or part time class teacher position.  

Granta School is a highly successful, popular Community Area Special School, catering for pupils aged 3 to 19 years old that have a range of learning difficulties. We have 180 young people on roll. We are extremely proud of our team who continually work towards providing our students with the best possible learning outcomes.   

Applications are invited from dedicated teachers who are experienced, enthusiastic, innovative practitioners, keen to develop their teaching and who will inspire our children. 

We are looking for practitioners who:

• Have a commitment and passion to work with pupils with a wide & diverse range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including complex and severe learning difficulties, social and communication difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions

• Are personable, friendly and a great team player

• Can lead, motivate and inspire teams to raise standards in student outcomes

• Want to be members of a creative and dynamic staff team with high expectations for our learners to achieve in life
