Class Teacher

From January 2023 or as soon as available after, we require a talented and enthusiastic qualified teacher for a class teacher position. For the remainder of this academic year, this would most likely be a PPA cover role, with a view to getting to know the school and students before having your own class. Part-time will be considered on the basis of 3 working days or more.  

Granta School is a highly successful, popular Community Area Special School, catering for pupils aged 3 to 19 years old that have a range of learning difficulties. We currently have 180 children on roll. We are extremely proud of our team who continually work towards providing our students with the best possible learning outcomes.

We are looking for practitioners who:

• Have a commitment and passion to work with pupils with a wide & diverse range of SEND including PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD, ADHD, speech & language impairments & SEMH

• Have excellent interpersonal skills 

• Can lead, motivate and inspire teams to raise standards in student outcomes

• Want to be members of a creative and dynamic staff team with high expectations for our learners to achieve in life
