Class Teacher - Maternity Cover

Westfield Primary SchoolBath and North East Somerset

Westfield Primary School requires a motivated and effective class teacher to join our friendly and welcoming team from 4th January 2022. The maternity cover post is in Year 2 and will be a Job Share, working on Monday and Tuesday each week.

In our last Ofsted (April 2015) Westfield was judged as a good school.

‘The head teacher and other leaders in school, including governors, have worked together effectively to address the areas for improvement from the previous inspection. They identified what needed to change and have taken action to improve achievement and the quality of teaching, particularly in mathematics and phonics. They are ambitious for the ongoing success of the school.’ Ofsted 2015

Pupils are proud of their school and they look after it with care. The behaviour of pupils around the school is good; pupils are sensible, polite and respectful both towards each other and towards all adults. During lessons, they concentrate well and try hard.
