St George’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a hardworking and inspirational teacher who will be become part of our warm and friendly team.

St. George’s Catholic Voluntary Academy is a larger than average sized primary academy situated in Littleover, Derby. We have approximately 350 children on roll between Foundation Stage 2 and Year 6.

We are a “GOOD” academy (OFSTED October ‘17) where our, “mission as a Catholic academy is a lived experience for staff and pupils.” We have an ethos of, ‘‘overwhelming kindness, inclusion and high standards’’ and “Behaviour is particularly good.”

We have a passionate and dedicated staff team, who are committed to providing an outstanding education for the children.

Although you do not need to be Catholic yourself, all applicants must be committed to promoting the Catholic ethos of the academy and inspire this in both staff, parents and children.
