Job overview

Please note that interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis with offers made as soon as possible.

Peninsula East Primary Academy has a vacancy for a Class Teacher to join their team from Easter 2023. We are a successful, thriving, and growing academy located in the beautiful village of Allhallows in Medway. If you would like to be part of a team that shares a strong belief that all students deserve a world-class education, then join us as we strive to offer our pupils the very best at their local community school. We want our students to leave our primary school as well-rounded, lifelong learners and global citizens that are ready for secondary school and beyond - and we know the importance of recruiting staff members who can bring this to fruition. We warmly welcome applications from candidates who have experience in upper Key Stage 2.

At Peninsula East Primary Academy, we have already and will continue to:

  • develop many close links within the village and on the Peninsula that further enriches the curriculum offered to our children.
  • offer a wealth of co-curricular clubs for our children after school as we feel that it is important that they have the opportunity to further extend their knowledge and expand their cultural capital
  • deliver innovative teaching and learning through our broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum and have recently received the accolade of becoming a World School for the International Baccalaureate
  • develop our digital offer to our children. Our children in Key Stage 2 each have access to their very own Chromebook which enables them to take ownership over their own learning and means that they are able to challenge themselves further

The basis of this role is permanent and offers MPS/UPS dependent on experience. For an exceptional candidate we are able to offer a TLR for additional responsibilities.
