Class Teacher

The Hundred of Hoo Academy are seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational Class Teacher, starting from September 2023. The basis of this role will be teaching Year 6, so it is preferred that our ideal candidate will have experience teaching upper Key Stage 2, although this is not essential. 

This is a truly rare and exciting opportunity as our successful Class Teacher will be joining an all-through academy during a period of growth and expansion and will be able to engage in cross-phase curriculum delivery. Those seeking career development may have the potential to take on the responsibility of subject leadership, and as the academy grows, there is also the possibility of future whole-school leadership opportunities.

From September 2023, we will be expanding our academy from one to two-form entry and are excitedly looking for someone to help develop our learning space, outdoor learning space and strengthen our strong team to provide the absolute best of learning opportunities for our children. ​​​​​​​

Working with our academy: The Hundred of Hoo Primary Academy is currently an oversubscribed one-form entry primary school which is part of the The Hundred of Hoo All-Through Academy on the Hoo Peninsula, Rochester. A purpose-built primary academy in 2016, Hundred of Hoo Primary is an accredited IB World School which follows the principles and methodology of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
