Sneinton St. Stephen’s C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent teaching practitioner who has high expectations of pupil progress and a passion for their own professional growth. This exciting role will involve teaching across both the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.

At Sneinton St. Stephen’s C of E Primary School, our mission, ‘Together We Can Achieve,’ shapes everything we do. We are a welcoming and inclusive school, dedicated to creating an aspirational environment where all members of our community can flourish.

Situated in the heart of inner-city Nottingham, our vibrant and diverse community reflects our commitment to celebrating differences and building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and families from all faiths and backgrounds.

Our Christian ethos, rooted in the values of Love, Joy, Unity, and Hope, underpins our approach to education and care. We warmly welcome teachers of all faiths and none, who are committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all pupils. Whether you are experienced in or new to working in a Church of England school, we will support you to ensure you feel confident and empowered to thrive in your role.

We are seeking a talented and passionate teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is committed to making a real difference in children’s lives and values creativity, professional development and community engagement. The successful candidate will work across both EYFS and KS1, supporting strong foundations for learning and helping children thrive as they progress through the early stages of their education.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover appointment. The position has been created to cover a period of maternity leave and is therefore temporary in nature.

You will:

·        Have a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1, with the ability to create engaging learning experiences that enable all children to thrive.

·        Be passionate about teaching and learning and making a difference to every child.

·        Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.

·        Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues.

·        Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.

In return we offer:

·        A welcoming community and a highly motivated, professional staff team that are driven

towards continuously raising standards.

·        Excellent professional development opportunities through an extensive range of network groups and other Transform Trust initiatives.

·        Calm and purposeful learning environments.

·        Excellent partnerships between pupils, staff, parents, governors and our wider community.

·        A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning throughout the school.

·        Career opportunities as part of a successful Multi Academy Trust.

Visits to our school are recommended and warmly welcomed.
Please contact the school office using the details below to arrange an appointment.
