The Priory Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Class Teacher to join their friendly team.

Do you want to work in a school which is passionate about teaching children with creativity through the wider curriculum? In a school that values educating the whole child within a body of happy and committed staff members? If so, the Directors of the trust along with the Governors of this successful and popular school, wish to appoint you to join our forward thinking, friendly, talented and enthusiastic team of staff.

The post is suitable for teachers looking to embrace the aims and ethos of our Catholic school; the Year Group to be taught will be dependent on the successful candidates’ experience, training and expertise – and is suitable for NQTs as the school does have excellent capacity to support teachers early in their career. In addition, there is a possibility that the post may be made permanent in the future.

We are looking for someone who:

• Aspires towards delivering consistently good provision, who is committed to teaching and learning

• Has high expectations of standards and a positive approach to behaviour management

• Has a love of supporting all children to develop across a rich and varied curriculum

• Is willing to support the aims and vision of Catholic Education in school and within the wider trust

• Is determined to make school-life a positive, rewarding and enjoyable experience

• Has excellent interpersonal skills and can work, plan and communicate effectively as part of a small, friendly and supportive team.

The Priory Catholic Voluntary Academy can offer the successful candidate:

• A welcoming school with many outstanding features

• A hard working, fun-loving and successful team; who enjoy working and laughing together

• A supportive Governing Body and Academy Trust Leadership Team

• Opportunities for Continual Professional Development

• A supportive and highly experienced leadership team; keen to support teachers to make the school a model for excellence

• A strong team of friendly teachers, open to new ideas and challenges

• Children who are joyful and motivated (our pupils are mature, sensible and behave extremely well).

Visits are warmly welcome. Please contact Ms Sophia Cottrell (School Secretary) by phone 01773 713731 or by email:  office@priory-pri.notts.sch.uk
