Job overview

We are looking to recruit excellent and highly skilled class teachers to work in either or both of our schools in Banbury.

This is an amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment and to be part of an enthusiastic team of educators.

William Morris Primary School is an outstanding school (Ofsted 2018) and Longford Park Primary is in its second year of opening as a brand new school. Both schools are led by the same Senior Leadership Team.

We are looking for teachers who value professional development, teachers who place great importance on high standards and teachers who enjoy being in a professional learning community where as a staff group, we use academic research and educational theory to underpin our rationale and philosophy for education.

We actively encourage and support anyone who seeks further opportunities e.g. leading an area across one or both schools or even working towards gaining SLE accreditation.

We work closely together as two schools and so share weekly PD meetings and there is a generous scope for progression and promotion across either.

We are also launching as a GLF satellite SCITT school where you may have the opportunity to help support with training trainee teachers.

As an employee of the GLF Schools Academy you also receive various employee benefits.  GLF  Schools is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust which originated in Surrey. The Trust has 31 schools and proudly offers headteachers and leaders the unique opportunity to lead with authenticity and individuality.

The ideal candidate will be a teacher who is motivated by being a learner and who is committed to working in an area where social change is a passion.

We welcome candidates to visit prior to application. Please feel free to contact the schools for any further details.

Contract: Permanent

Start: September 2019

Salary Range: NQT - UPS 3

GLF Schools is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). As a Trust, we support applications from educators from diverse backgrounds seeking flexible working opportunities. We reserve the right to withdraw this vacancy at any time ahead of the closing date if there is a good level of response. Therefore, we recommend you submit your application as early as possible.
