Dashwood Banbury Academy is a Primary school teaching ages 2-11 years, in the heart of Banbury, Oxfordshire with great facilities. It is close to the town centre, a 5-minute walk from the train station or a 5-minute drive from the M40. The pupils and staff work together to ensure everyone is achieving and succeeding. It is a fantastic school where pupils make excellent progress and gain valuable life experiences to take with them on their next steps into secondary school. We also value the journeys of all our employees and provide ongoing training to give you the opportunity to flourish and continue your career in education, whether this be through internal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training or external providers through the academy, we want our staff to achieve and be successful as well as our students.

Are you looking to join an inspirational and motivated team?

Do you aim to deliver authentic, quality education in an efficient and interactive way, enabling children to develop the skills for success in the 21st century?

If so, we could have the perfect role for you!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or NQT/ECT to join our school and work with pupils on a temporary contract from September 2022 for 1 year.

We are looking for an outstanding Class Teacher who is passionate about education, someone who recognises the importance of great relationships and someone who works creatively with the curriculum to help all children succeed whilst relishing the opportunity to develop their own practice. This is a great opportunity to also get the chance to work with experienced Senior Leaders who can support and mentor you in the role.

The working hours for this role is 32.5 hours per week.

Dashwood Academy offers a welcoming environment where creatively is encouraged. We are proud of our enthusiastic, hardworking, and engaging children and we are a school where our core values run through-out the curriculum and support pupils every step of the way.
