At Ocean Academy, we provide an enriched and challenging ‘No Limits’ curriculum which is fun and engaging and ultimately keeps our children at the heart of everything we endeavour to achieve. The ‘No Limits’ curriculum framework is based around INTENT, IMPLEMENTATION and IMPACT alongside the expectation that the curriculum values ingenuity, creativity and risk-taking.

We believe in developing ‘the whole child’ and ensure high expectations for social, emotional, physical, moral, cultural and academic growth.  It is important to us that the children at Ocean Academy are resilient, determined and believe in their abilities to succeed whilst not being afraid to make a mistake or ‘have another go’. Our children are excited by learning and with a strong pupil voice, they feel safe and highly valued. Our staff are recognised as being a strong team who foster curiosity and creativity in an environment where everyone is  respected.

The facilities at Ocean Academy are modern and diverse and this allows us to promote learning now and for the 21st century. Ocean Academy has its ethos embedded in the Aspirations Academies core belief that for all children to have high aspirations they must believe in themselves, be actively engaged in their learning and see the connection between what they learn today and who they want to become tomorrow. There are numerous opportunities for parents and carers to support the learning at Ocean Academy and we embrace the value of working closely with parents and the local community to uphold the collegiate approach that leads to successful, life-long learning and positive outcomes for our children.
