The role entails:
· Two Afternoons per week
· Providing cover for PPA time
· Working with 2 Year 5 classes each week
· Potentially covering occasional sickness absence within year 5
· Lesson plans will be provided
About the School:
The school is recently academised and is looking to change its focus toward providing the best education for each individual pupil that it can. The school want a teacher who is a team player and is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure that the class aren’t missing out during their regular teacher’s PPA time. They also aim to push the children to exceed their expectations therefor requiring a teacher who can demonstrate these qualities in their past experience.
The school intend on holding telephone interviews before shortlisting candidates to come in and teach in front of a class in September. The day of teaching will be a paid supply day regardless whether or not the candidate is successful.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
