Job Title:    Class Teacher 

Location:       3 Dimensions School, Wadeford, Chard

Salary:           Up to £38,000 per annum dependent on experience

Hours:          40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:      Permanent, Term Time Only 

3 Dimensions School is in an exciting phase of growth and development. With not just one, but two school sites! Resulting in a far wider offer of educational places, and a wealth of opportunities for young people with SEN (i.e., Learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PDA, Attachment Disorder, and young people who have experienced previous trauma).

Skills & knowledge of:

  • Primary and/or secondary teaching
  • Ideally - Knowledge and Experience of delivering Science
  • Confident, creative, cross-curricular approach to teaching
  • Practical, fun ‘hands on’ ideas & activities
  • Planning & delivery of subject
  • Evidencing work & monitoring progress 
  • Delivering relevant qualifications i.e., ASDAN, Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSE
  • Primary & Vocational approach / i.e., ASDAN

For teaching posts, we require qualified teachers with QTS (to PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent).

3 Dimensions is a small Independent Special School for pupils aged between 7 and 25 years old, with a primary need of Autism Spectrum, communication and language difficulties and a secondary need of Social and Emotional, Mental Health difficulties.
