About the role: For the attention of Primary Teachers seeking a new and exciting opportunity for the next academic year... Langley Park Primary Academy has an opening for an experienced Class Teacher to join us for September 2019 as our recently opened school increases pupil intake and we grow our Specialist Resource Provision, hence the need to expand our teaching team. Having opened in September 2016 initially as a single form entry, our pupils are progressing through the school and we are expanding gradually to a two form entry. Furthermore, our SRP will expand into a second classroom catering for pupils across all phases within the school. The SRP, known as PIP Class, is situated within Langley Park Primary Academy. When the academy is fully built, the SRP will comprise of two classrooms, one situated downstairs for children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2, and one classroom situated upstairs for children in Years 3 – 6. There is a secure playground and the children have complete access to the main school facilities. It is an appropriate educational setting for fifteen primary aged children (4-11 years old) who experience difficulties in social communication, language and accessing the curriculum due to a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Working for the academy: Langley Park Primary Academy opened in September 2016 and is the hub of a brand new community in Maidstone.
