Job overview

Help us unlock the star in every child.

Star Academy Sandyford is a happy, caring and successful primary school that offers exceptional opportunities for children.

Our mission is to unlock the star in every child – identifying pupils’ individual strengths and giving them all the support and encouragement, they need to shine.

Pastoral care is woven into everything we do, as we believe that life is about far more than just examination results.

Our vision is to provide a true community resource, with our facilities being used for everything from pre-school playgroups to workshops, drop-in police surgeries and fire advice initiatives.

Our delightful, curious, motivated children are seeking a dynamic reflective teacher. As a school on a rapid journey to good, the position would suit an experienced practitioner but all applications would be considered. The post would initially be to teach in LKS2.

Join us, and your career could take you anywhere within the Trust’s extensive network of academies. You can also expect an exceptional package of benefits through our Together Platform.

You will enjoy a health cash plan, shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an employee assistance programme – plus all the satisfaction of delivering an education that develops young people as individuals, not just students.

Discover where we could take your career by visiting: www.academytransformationtrust.co.uk > vacancies.

Closing date: 15 October 2019.

ATT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
