We are currently seeking a class teacher to work with a small class of SEND students. This is an opportunity to be part of a thriving specialist provision that fosters continuous professional development, challenge, and support. As well as being part of a growing Multi Academy Trust with a proven track record with special needs provisions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and motivating lessons with a personalised programme of learning for students.
- Contributing to the improvement of pupils' participation in learning and Academy life.
- Ensuring the creation of a calm and productive working environment.
We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers, as part of a larger Trust we are able to offer support to both as well as a comprehensive Induction Programme.
We are looking for a committed candidate with these qualifications:
- a desire to work with some of the most complex young people in our community
- demonstrable experience in securing successful academic outcomes
- demonstrable experience in managing challenging behaviour
- sufficient command of spoken English as defined under the Code of Practice on English language requirements for public sector workers
Bramley Oak Academy offers special provision for primary age boys with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. As part of the London South East Academies Trust we have been improving rapidly and we are entering an exciting new phase of development with significant additions being built onto the school. The school received a 'Good' OFSTED inspection in October 2023.

Bramley Oak is a thriving primary school located near Guildford in Surrey, offering specialist education to 5-11-year-old boys who have an Education Health Care Plan.
