Values and vision

St Anne’s values the creation of a environment welcoming for every pupil. The school also wishes to have a positive working relationship with all parents, staff, and the wider Tower Hamlets community. With Christ as an example, St Anne’s also wishes to spread compassion and understanding amongst all pupils, melding a strong academic grounding with understandings on a spiritual and moral level.

Religious education is a core part of the curriculum at St Anne’s. The most recent report by Westminster Diocese states that “although attainment is average, from their starting points, pupils make excellent progress to achieve outstandingly well in religious education."

Ofsted

“In mathematics, teachers plan activities which match pupils’ abilities closely. This means that those pupils who require additional support and structure make confident gains in their understanding of calculations and word problems.”
