Calling all teachers-from NQTs to experienced! Would you like to work within a strong team, and receive first class training and opportunities to collaborate with others? If so, we’d love to hear from you! The Federated Schools of St Mary’s and St Saviour’s, who are a part of the Genesis Education Trust, are looking for teachers to join our well respected and established organisation within Walthamstow.
St Mary’s is 3 form entry and is graded outstanding by Ofsted. St Saviour’s is 2 form entry and is graded good with outstanding features. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a teacher in KS2. Year 6 experience would be an advantage for key stage 2 candidates, but not essential.
If you are joining us as an NQT, we will ensure that you feel fully supported throughout your NQT year. We’ll also give you a new Air Mac, which you will get to keep if you stay with the school. You will have an experienced, fully trained mentor who will support you every step of the way in your development to outstanding. Our NQTs tell us that they are happy, confident, well supported, well trained and are valued members of our team.
If you are joining us as a 2nd/3rd year teacher or beyond, we will be keen to find out how best we can work with you so that you feel supported, inspired and a key part of the team. We have many structures in place to support 2nd/3rd year teachers and those aspiring to leadership. Our 2nd/3rd year teachers and leaders tell us that they have access to first quality training and mentoring which enables them to enhance their practice very quickly and that there are opportunities to develop as a leader should they wish to do so.
If you are interested in joining our team, it would be great if you could come and visit us prior to application. You can visit St Mary’s or St Saviour’s – whichever is more convenient for you. Please contact Ms Holder (telephone number below) and let Ms Holder know the dates and times when you can visit and which school is best for you in terms of distance. We look forward to hearing from you!
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo Child Protection screening, including checks with past employers and the DBS. References will be taken up before interviews are offered.
