Armadale Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the south side of Armadale. Our school catchment is mixed, including the area of Mayfield which is the bottom 15% of the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation.
The primary school roll is 492 with 77 pupils in the nursery classes. The school has received a significant increase in the number of placing requests over the last few years.
Additional accommodation is provided through four temporary units situated in the rear of the school. Our free school meal entitlement is 19%. The Senior Level Leadership Team consists of the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, two Principal Teachers and two (0.5fte) acting Principal Teachers. A cluster Business Manager supports the team.
