Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are applicants must be hold QTS, be confident leading ICT.


Contract dates:  Starting January 2022 

The role

An outstanding school in Redbridge are seeking a professional and talented classroom teacher to join them in January 2022, and take the lead for ICT across the whole school. The Year group to be taught is fairly negotiable, although the preference would be for lower Key stage 2.  The successful candidate will further contribute to the team by  adding to its already progressive and creative lessons, and continue to strengthen links to the local community . Upon appointment, the candidate will join the school on a fixed term contract until August 2021, with a view to either an extension or permanent appointment.

The school is 4 form in entry, and has been graded Outstanding by ‘Ofsted’. The Headteacher is extremely proud of this, and aims to retain this status. Children hail from a variety of cultures, ethnic groups and countries, thus creating a vibrant, diverse and colourful cohort or learners. Children here are extremely respectful and courteous, and have a desire to learn. Over the years the Senior team have invested heavily in the building, creating some excellent features and areas. In addition to this, amazing learning opportunities are provided here,  unique to schools within the state system -  such is the vision and ambition of the Headteacher.


Requirements

To be considered for the Class Teacher with ICT lead position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher status or equivalent

• Experience of leading ICT, or have a strength in this subject area 

• Candidates must be willing to immerse themselves into all aspects of school life and its community
