Job overview

Chiltern Gate and Maplewood Schools were two special schools that have both undergone significant positive change in recent years, both coming out of special measures and now securely ‘good’ and on the path to outstanding. As of April 2016 these two schools amalgamated, and the school now requires a teacher to support the needs of one of our Key Stage 1 complex needs groups, the majority of whom have autism. We strive to continually improve our practice, and aim to secure only the very best outcomes for our pupils through high quality provision and practice. This right candidate will be instrumental in this drive, supporting the quality of teaching in the department through dedicated management time. We offer the opportunity to be part of an exciting stage in the school’s development, and contribute purposefully to how special educational needs are met in the Wycombe area. You will be well supported by welcoming and knowledgeable staff, within a well-run and hard-working school.
