We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Class Teaching Assistant to support our Class Teacher/Students in our Upper School, with confidence, flair and creativity.

Greenwich Steiner School is a high-achieving, well-regarded school where every member of the teaching staff is provided with an induction programme to support and enhance teaching and learning and have access to excellent professional development programmes overseen by a dedicated member of LT. The school currently has pupils aged 3-18 and has very recently been appointed as an accredited provider of the Certificate of Steiner Education for the Upper School.
There is also an opportunity to study for a PGCE and MA in Steiner Education as GSS becomes a Teaching School.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Assist the Class Teacher with the delivery of the school's Steiner Curriculum;
- Work with pupils on a group or 1 to 1 basis as required by the class teacher – some of the pupils that will be supporting may have SEND;
- Write up notes and observations as required by the class teacher;
- Ensure good supervision and discipline;
- Perform general duties such outdoor and breaktime supervision;
- Contribute to other areas by negotiation;
- Contribute to the ethos of this Steiner school.
Minimum 15 hours but can be full time for the right candidate.
