Job overview

We are looking to appoint a classroom cover supervisor to cover lessons in the absences of teaching staff, delivering set work. When not covering lessons they will assist our pastoral support team, providing administration support and assisting students. 

Previous experience of working with children, particularly in a secondary education setting, and knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage. However, this is not essential as training will be provided. This is an ideal position for someone looking to gain school experience to support an application for teacher training or exploring the idea of a career in education. 

The successful candidate will be contracted to work 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time) plus 35 hours in school holidays. You will be paid on Kent Range 5, £18,547 - £19,448 p.a. pro rata (FTE £22,595 - £23,693 p.a.).
