Job overview
We are looking for suitably qualified and motivated persons who will, under the supervision and guidance of School Leaders:
• Cover whole classes during a teacher’s absence, where the main requirement will be to keep pupils focused on tasks set by the teacher/ Head of Department.
• Work with groups and individual SEND pupils in and out of the classroom to support their learning needs.
• Supervise students at break and lunchtimes.
Full induction training and support will be given to the successful applicants.
Applicants should have experience of, or real interest in, working with children in the 11-16 age range. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in a career in teaching.
