Exciting opportunity – Key Stage 2 Teacher for new Junior Class September 2020.
High Grange School will be looking to appoint a qualified teacher who is confident, highly competent and skilled at delivering across various academic subject areas, preferably with a SEN background and experience of teaching pupils with high-functioning autism. This position would suit a primary school teacher who has secure subject knowledge to deliver Key Stage 2 and early Key Stage 3 content across various National Curriculum subject areas. The classroom teacher will be responsible for delivering learning in accordance with the National Curriculum and national guidelines, whilst operating within the school’s curriculum model. The successful candidate must also carry out additional duties which support pupils’ learning whilst operating in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures. All pupils at High Grange School have a diagnosis of high-functioning ASD (ASC) with a possible additional diagnoses of PDA and/or ADHD and may present with additional mental health difficulties.
