Merici College is an IB World School, authorised to offer the Diploma Program (Years 11-12) and in the process of candidacy for the Middle Years Program (Year 7-10).

We are looking for innovative, creative and committed teachers and leaders. We recognise and support teachers who have achieved national Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Certification. We are currently seeking to appoint an Art & Religious Education Teacher at Merici College.To be successful in this role, you will have the demonstrated ability to be an innovative classroom teacher, who is committed to the school’s philosophy of Powerful Learning, employing a wide range of student centred, brain-based learning strategies and who is willing to explore new models of teaching, including team teaching, to improve outcomes for all students. Additionally, you will have a commitment to be forward-thinking to promote excellent outcomes in an all-girls environment.

Please note that this is a temporary full-time position commencing 25 January to 17 December 2021. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
