Caldew Lea Primary School is a school very much at the heart of the local community it serves. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of west Carlisle. The Trustees are seeking to employ an outstanding teacher who is creative, imaginative, highly motivated and vibrant. The post will initially cover a fixed term maternity leave, however there may be the potential to extend this subject to staffing requirements.

Caldew Lea is due to become part of the Cumbria Education Trust in the Autumn Term 2019; it will be led with vision, honesty and purpose under new leadership from September 2019. CET is a growing multi academy trust based in Cumbria; and is committed to creating outstanding, innovative and inspiring learning environments for our schools and their communities. The successful candidate will be joining CET at an exciting time, as we continue to build on our successes and move forward on our journey to establish ourselves as one of the highest performing MATs in the North of England.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School at a pivotal time and be part of our vision of providing an inspiring and innovative education for the pupils at Caldew Lea Primary School.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic class teacher to join us from September 2019.
