As a Classroom Teacher of Geography, you will join our Faculty and School Teams and take teaching responsibility for standards in Humanities, working alongside some very talented staff in your Faculty. In our college system (of five colleges), Geography sits in Nightingale College, alongside Year 10, currently.

Mossley Hollins High School is currently in the process of converting to an Academy. This role will be affected by the transfer, meaning that the successful applicant will transfer to the Academy, along with all other school staff. Located in the town of Mossley, Greater Manchester, Mossley Hollins High School is a co-educational secondary school with around 800 pupils aged 11-16. This makes it smaller than the average school of its type, with an economically diverse student intake. Founded in the 1960s, the school has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, with the most recent buildings being opened in 2011.The school works closely with a number of other institutions in the local area, to provide better outcome for its pupils, although Mossley Hollins is a community school rather than an academy.
