Awarded Ofsted Outstanding for Education Inspection in January 2017, Radlett Lodge School, based in Hertfordshire offers both educational support and a residential provision for children and young people on the autism spectrum between the ages of 4-19. We strive to provide the most suitable support required by our students to assist them with their learning and educational needs. Working with children and young adults with special educational needs comes with its challenges, and our valued staff join us knowing that to have made a positive impact on a young person’s learning development is priceless.

We are looking for a Class Teacher with a passion to work in an organisation that specialises in autism, supporting autistic adults or children on autism spectrum live the life they choose.  You will have the ability to lead a team of experienced support staff whilst playing a full part in the life of the school community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Qualified Teacher with:

  • QTS
  • Teaching experience (SEN/ASD)
  • Evidence of Outstanding Teaching and Learning
  • Proven knowledge of the National Curriculum and the impact on pupils with autism
  • Ability to lead and drive forward an area of the curriculum working in Primary Education model
  • Passion for working with pupils of all ages with challenging behaviour
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to lead by example
  • Be excited by and enthusiastic about curriculum innovations and teaching and learning approaches
