Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated cleaner to join the team at Norton Hill Primary School. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, be able to use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.  This role includes cleaning of the school to a high standard and locking the school.  The successful candidate will use cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner, following the School’s instructions and procedures. They will complete the required records and documentation and ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.

30 hours per week, term time, plus inset days and 3 weeks  holiday working

Hours: Mon - Fri:  Suggested hours 6am  - 9am & 4pm -6pm

Actual salary: £13,854

We are delighted to have opened our new £10.9 million primary school. It is a three form entry school which has been funded by the Department for Education. We have wonderful facilities which are on offer to the Midsomer Norton Community. Facilities include superb sports provision, with two indoor sports halls, a dance studio, two large pitches for football and rugby and a hard surface sports pitch which has basketball, tennis, hockey, football and netball pitches. We specialise in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Forest School and Outdoor Learning.
