·        Salary:      £9.50 per hour + meal allowance + pension + extra benefits

The person we are looking for should be:

·        Excellent at managing their own time and priorities.

·        Personable with a friendly disposition.

·        Willing to lend a hand, but make sure the job is done well.

·        Trained or experienced in cleaning roles.

·        Willing to work some unsociable hours to support the College facilities lettings.

Job description

Introduction to the Department

Our Site team maintain and develop our facilities, alongside the crucial day-to-day work of preparing spaces for learning.  The normal shift pattern is working 3.30pm to 6.45pm Monday to Thursday, 3.30pm to 6.15pm Fridays, however there may be flexibility in these times and additional hours possible at weekends.

 Duties for this job will include (but are not limited to):

·        Cleaning of equipment and facilities, including scheduled deep cleaning in College holidays.

·        Clearing and setting up of spaces for learning.

·        Promoting the safe use of our facilities, including the regular monitoring of safety equipment.

Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities relevant to the post as directed by the Site Manager.
