Cleaner - £11.59 per hour
We are looking to recruit reliable, committed, trustworthy and hardworking cleaners who will work under the direction and instruction of the Site Manager, to undertake individually or as part of a team the cleaning of designated areas to ensure they are kept clean and in a safe, hygienic condition.
· Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties which, include
· Clean allocated area to the required standard.
· Safe removal of litter and waste to allocated disposal points.
· Locking and unlocking windows and doors as directed.
· Emptying vacuum cleaners and buffer vacuum bags at the end of each session. Cleaning and checking all equipment after use.
· Covering on a rota basis for absent colleagues when required.
· Any other related duties as directed by the Site Manager
You will work safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment and be mindful of hazards to other staff and students. Compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.
You will be appointed on an all-year-round contract Monday to Friday at £11.59 per hour.
The cleaning is split into two shifts:
Morning Contract: 7.00 am to 8.45 am – 8.75 hours per week (Actual salary £5,289)
Afternoon Contract: 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm – 10 hours per week (Actual salary £6,044)
