Job overview

We are seeking suitable candidates to start as soon as possible to join our dedicated cleaning team. The role will involve a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of a safe, clean and hygienic environment.

The role is 12.5 hours per week (3.30 pm to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday) during term time and a further 2 weeks during the school holidays to contribute to the deep clean of the school, plus 5 inset days per year. There may be some weekend work available.

The successful applicant should have appropriate experience but training will be given relating to hazardous substances, health and safety and manual handling.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on  10th December. We reserve the right to interview promising candidates before the closing date so early application is recommended.

New Marston Primary School is a mixed community school for 4-11 year olds in Headington, Oxford. In February 2017, we converted to an academy under the River Learning Trust. Exciting times are ahead for the school; teachers and leadership teams across the Trust work closely to support and challenge each other and there is strong collaboration and mutual support which benefits all our schools.
