We have an exciting opportunity to become a member of the site cleaning team here at Charnwood College. The team of cleaners take pride in the school and have a vital role to play in the successful running of the school site.

About the role

The cleaning team undertake a full range of cleaning duties using domestic and industrial cleaning equipment to ensure all areas of the educational setting are maintained to a specified quality standard. 

Salary & Benefits

NJC01   £9.25 per hour

Who we are looking for

Ability to clean and maintain a full range of industrial and domestic cleaning equipment and materials

Ability to use tact and demonstrate empathy with facility users, students and staff

Ability to work as part of a team

Understanding of health and safety issues associated with cleaning materials, equipment and premises

Basic standard of education

Charnwood College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in the west of Loughborough in Leicestershire. The academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust and is governed by a Local Governing Body.

The secondary academy has expressive arts facilities which include a dedicated music suite and dance and drama studio. In addition, its sports facilities include a floodlit, all-weather 3G sports pitch, a new sports centre, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym, a fitness suite, and extensive playing fields.
