Welcome to Hawkley Hall High School, where your journey begins!

HHHS is a vibrant 11 – 16 mixed comprehensive school made up of approximately 1200 students and 150 staff situated in the west of Wigan. The school was graded as good in all areas by Ofsted in November 2024.

Our school is so much more than a place of study. It is a place of inclusivity and belonging that celebrates all that is wonderful about our locality.

Our talented teachers bring learning to life with engaging lessons and hands-on experience, but the heart of our school extends beyond the classroom. Our dedicated support staff work tirelessly to ensure every student has the resources they need to thrive.

We provide bespoke facilities across all of our 9 faculty areas to ensure our students have access to the tools they need to succeed. Our commitment to the arts, sports and extracurricular activities ensures that every student can discover and develop new skills, passions, and friendships. We recognise the importance of a holistic approach to the development of our young people and know that school is so much more than lessons alone.
