Cleaning Assistant

A1 £22,366

Contract: 37 Hours per week - All Year Round

 

The Bruntcliffe Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Cleaning Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and standards throughout the academy building. The post holder will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager.

 

The ideal applicant will have:

·      The ability to use toxic materials in the process of general cleaning.

·      The ability to work constructively as part of a team.

·      Adequate reading skills (for Health and Safety reasons), as will be required to read labels on bottles containing chemicals.

Bruntcliffe Academy is an increasingly popular 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1000 students on roll. The school is situated in Morley which is on the outskirts of the thriving city of Leeds, with a very good motorway access to all areas of the north of England and beyond.

The school joined the highly successful GORSE Academies Trust which has a national reputation for its excellence in 2015.
