Contract: 10 hours Per Week, All Year Round

 

Hillcrest Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Cleaning Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy with the successful candidate being responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the school building. This position is for two hours per day, Monday to Friday.  

 

Potential applicants should have:

·        Positive values and attitude and adopt high standards of professional conduct in line with the seven principles of Public Life.

·        Knowledge and experience of using cleaning equipment and handling and using chemicals in accordance with procedures.

·        Willing engagement with colleagues and the role.

Hillcrest Academy is a larger-than-average primary school located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The school provides places for around 400 pupils aged 3-11. Hillcrest Academy is part of the GORSE Academies Trust, which is responsible for the running of around eight schools in the local area, at both primary and secondary level.

Hillcrest takes great pride in its extremely diverse catchment area, with a high proportion of pupils from ethnic minority backgrounds and a similarly high proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language.
