Hillcrest Academy is seeking to recruit a dedicated and reliable individual for the role of Cleaning Assistant. This is an important position within the academy, ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained across all areas of the school to support a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of cleaning duties across the academy, including classrooms, corridors, offices, and specialist areas, using appropriate equipment and materials. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of the Site Manager, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

We are looking for candidates who:

·       Are able to safely handle and use cleaning materials, including chemical products, in accordance with procedures.

·       Can work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff.

·       Have sufficient reading skills to understand health and safety information, including product labels.

·       Take pride in maintaining high standards and have a strong attention to detail.

·       Are committed to contributing positively to the wider ethos of the Academy.
