We are seeking two enthusiastic and flexible individuals to assist in providing an effective, efficient and safe cleaning service.

The College’s cleaning service is run in-house, organised by the Cleaning Supervisor, Karen Dawson and overseen by our Site Manager, Kevin Leiper. The cleaning assistants are organised into two teams.

The contracts are initially on a fixed term basis until end of May 2020, with the potential to become permanent appointments.

Previous experience in a similar role and/or environment is an advantage, though training will be given. More important is a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, combined with a flexible and positive approach. You must be willing and able to carry out the variety of manual tasks which are an essential part of this kind of role.

The contracts will initially be on a fixed term basis for an average of 16 hours per week, starting 6 January 2020. An earlier start date may be possible, depending on availability of the candidate.

Normal working hours are: Monday to Thursday 4.15 pm to 7.30 pm and Friday 4.15 pm to 7.15 pm.

Closing Date: Midnight, Monday 18th November 2019

Please ensure you use the Supporting Statement of the Application Form to explain how your skills, experience and attributes make you suitable for the post. Please do not include a C.V.

Interviews are provisionally arranged for week commencing 25th November 2019
