The Richard Huish Trust are looking to recruit a reliable, responsible and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team at the Taunton Academy. This is a permanent, part-time role working 35 hours per week with working hours between 11.00am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday, 43 weeks per year (term-time plus 5 weeks).
As Cleaning Supervisor you will be overseeing a team of cleaners whilst undertaking cleaning duties, ensuring areas such as classrooms, corridors, washrooms and offices are cleaned to a consistently high standard. Experience as a cleaner in a supervisory role is essential.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a great communicator and feel comfortable instructing the team in order to meet the needs of a busy and thriving school.

Pyrland School (formerly The Taunton Academy) is a secondary school (11 – 16), located on the outskirts of Taunton with approximately 830 students on roll. We are rapidly growing in terms of pupil numbers and this is forecast to continue over the coming years until we reach capacity (1200).
