Clerical Assistant

Part time, Term Time Only (39 weeks)

G3, SCP 9 – Pro Rata @ 33.41%

Actual Salary = £8,575.68 per annum

2 days per week: Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 3pm - 14 hours/week

 Required as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be employed by the Blessed Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust, based at The Sacred Heart Language College. The school is a highly successful, oversubscribed learning community for girls aged 11 – 16. We were judged as outstanding by the Diocese of Westminster in 2019 and by OFSTED in 2014. We strive to continue to provide the best education for all our students.  

 As Clerical Assistant you will join the school office to assist with all aspects of administration, including staff cover arrangements.  Duties will be varied, dealing with and resolving a large volume of enquiries, respecting confidential information relating to staff, pupils and families.

 The successful candidate will be well motivated, organised and able to use his/her own initiative. You must be able to deal with all types of situations in a professional and calm manner, and the ability to work as a member of a team.

 We are seeking candidates with:

Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate in person, on the phone and by email

Be flexible and demonstrate a positive solution focused approach and adaptable attitudeKnowledge of working in a school environment, while preferable, is not essential
