Job overview

Two Rivers High School are looking to appoint a Clerical Assistant/Receptionist to provide a welcoming and professional administration and reception service within school. Acting as first point of contact, you will answer telephone and face-to-face enquiries, sign visitors into school, assist with pupil welfare, liaise with parents, help with the arrangements for school trips/events and undertake a range of general administration duties.

 

Required to start as soon as possible. Our school was judged by Ofsted (Jan 2019) to be outstanding.

 

35hrs/week: Monday-Friday (Term-time only)

Salary range: £21,189 (FTE 37 hours/whole year)

 

Key Requirements:

NVQ2 or equivalent business and administration qualification and / or work-based experience in a relevant discipline.

 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good organisational, planning and prioritising skills;

• Requires minimum supervision and is methodical with good attention to detail

· Is able to work constructively as part of a team;

· Good keyboard skills;

• Has some knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation;

· Has the ability to relate well to children and adults.
