Job overview

We wish to appoint an experienced Clerk to support the Federation’s Governing Board. The Clerk will be responsible for advising the Governing Board on governance, procedures and compliance and will directly contribute to the efficient conduct of the Governing Board, enabling coherent and effective decision-making.

There are approximately 22 meetings per academic year held in term time. Meetings are held in our schools.

When not attending the GB meetings, the successful applicant would be expected to complete remaining work offsite. Internet access will be required and excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills are essential. 

You will have experience of providing clerking services in an educational setting or be able to demonstrate appropriate experience to carry out the role along with a willingness to attend relevant training and development.

Welcome to the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools which includes Prendergast Ladywell School, Prendergast School, Prendergast Vale School, Prendergast Primary School and Prendergast Sixth Form.
