1.5 days per week (term-time only, 43.2 weeks)
The role is be responsible for the effective support to the Governors of the Trust by ensuring that all appropriate legislation, procedures and documents are in place and being implemented. The role involves providing appropriate guidance and support to the Board and to various WCAT committees and their members as well as act as Company Secretary to the Trust and any other companies under its control. Other responsibilities include the co-ordination and production of Trust wide policies to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant and managing the recruitment, on boarding and induction of all new Governors ensuring compliance.
To be considered for the role you must possess excellent demonstrable administration and IT skills, in particular Word and Outlook. You will be extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines. You will have the experience to manage and advise on annual Governors meetings and writing Agendas and accurate, concise Minutes with maintaining confidentiality and discretion. The incumbent will be educated to a good standard, particularly in English and Maths. The ideal candidate will have attended the National Training Programme for Clerks or equivalent, or be willing to undertake this, and will have worked in a similar role.
