Job overview
We are seeking to recruit a Clerk of Governors to provide advice to the governing body on governance, statutory and procedural matters; to provide effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees; and to manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.
This position involves physically attending schools for meetings and also working flexibly from home. Please be aware the meetings are largely held in the evening after school hours.

About Ricards Lodge High School
Ricards Lodge High School is a girls-only, comprehensive secondary school with sixth form situated in Wimbledon, south-west London. It is a community state school and was known as The Wimbledon Day Commercial School when it opened in 1924.
A larger than average secondary school, Ricards Lodge provides 1,200 places for students between the ages of 11 and 19 when fully subscribed.

Ricards Lodge High School has a specialism in the performing arts and has gained the Artsmark Gold Award. The school believes that the risk-taking nature of the arts helps to increase self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as improving students' attitudes to learning.
