Job overview

Lantern Community Primary School and Downham Feoffees Primary School are seeking to appoint a dynamic, flexible individual with great organisational skills and proven administrative experience to support our Academy Councils.  The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient clerking, administrative support and record keeping to each of the Academy Councils. 

Previous experience would be a distinct advantage, but full training could be provided for the right candidate. An interest in education and passion for continual improvement is essential.

Duties will include:

• Providing advice on all governance, constitutional and procedural matters 

• Ensuring the Academy Councils are properly constituted and compliant with statutory requirements

The Clerk is accountable to the CMAT Governance Leaders, Academy Council Chairs and Principals of those schools in which the Clerk is working.
