Job overview
We are a high achieving, non fee-paying school which provides an outstanding education for students aged 11-18. The role of the Clerk requires attendance at evening meetings of the school’s Governing Body and its committees.
Duties include preparation and distribution of agenda papers in consultation with the School/Governing Body; minute taking at meetings; maintaining Governing Body records; providing procedural and regulatory framework advice when required and other related duties
Full induction training and support will be made available to the successful candidate.
Governing Body Meetings take place on a Tuesday or Thursday evening in term time and start 6.30 pm:
4 Full Governing Body meetings per academic year.
Approximately 16 sub-committee meetings per academic year.
