We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic and committed Co-ordinator of Teaching & Learning in Performing Arts to contribute further to this thriving community. The successful candidate will teach music at key stage 2 and 3 and lead and co-ordinate our very successful performing arts programme. The ability to teach Drama is not essential but would be an advantage.

We need:

  • An outstanding Music teacher with a proven track record of success
  • A passion for the performing arts and the ability and vision to lead a busy department
  • Experience leading school-based performing arts events or as a practitioner in theatre/music
  • A proven track record to excellent achievement at key stage 3 or key stage 2
  • The ability to lead and inspire others
  • The ability to co-ordinate the Performing Arts curriculum as well as extra clubs and activities
  • Excellent communication and ICT skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
